Frequently asked questions
Are prices in rand?
Yes. All prices are in South African rand. Global Software Services (Pty) Ltd, the company behind NewHost, is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added: the price shown is the full amount you pay.
How can I pay?
By card or instant EFT through our secure payments platform (CentraPoint), by bank EFT with proof of payment, or from your prepaid NewHost wallet.
How quickly is my hosting set up?
Your hosting account is created on our Plesk servers as soon as your first payment is received -- immediately for card and wallet payments, and when your EFT reflects for bank transfers.
Can plans renew automatically?
Yes. Choose wallet or card auto-renew; renewal invoices are raised 7 days before your period ends.
Where are your servers?
In South Africa, which keeps latency low for South African visitors.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
