What is NewHost?
NewHost is a South African hosting company (Global Software Services (Pty) Ltd). We host websites, business email, Windows/.NET sites and Node.js apps, register domains, and let you manage your own cloud servers, all from one dashboard with rand pricing.
Which option is right for me?
For a business website or WordPress, choose website hosting (it includes email). If you only need email addresses, choose business email. ASP.NET sites need Windows hosting, and Node.js or Next.js projects on GitHub suit app hosting. Not sure? Send us a message and we'll recommend one.
Can you move my existing website, email or domain?
Yes. Tell us where you're hosted today and we'll help you move your website and mailboxes. Domains, including .co.za, can be transferred to NewHost from the dashboard.
Are prices in rand? Is VAT added?
All prices are in South African rand. Global Software Services (Pty) Ltd, the company behind NewHost, is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added: the price shown is the full amount you pay.
How do I pay, and how quickly is it set up?
Pay by card or instant EFT, by bank EFT with proof of payment, or from your prepaid NewHost wallet. Your service is set up as soon as payment is received: immediately for card and wallet payments, and when your EFT reflects for bank transfers.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can pay monthly or yearly.
